Special Achievement Award
The Special Achievement Award replaced the League Championship in 2002/2003. The first three league championships consisted of 2 month long Club Racing Leagues, but U.C.D.C.C. later joined up with Orwell Wheelers/ St. Tiernan’s CC and Irish Road Club to form a four team inter-club league. The top UCD performer in the league was awarded the Club League title. The award was renamed in 2002/2003 after the Club decided against competing in the inter-club league. The award is now given annually to a Club member who excels in any aspect of the Club, be it competitive or organizational. This award is chosen by the Club President and Club Captain.
