2008 K-Capital Cup Round 2

The second round of the K Capital Cup took place at Moneyscalp in Co. Down on Sunday, 23rd March. The race was organised by Banbridge Cycling Club and an impressive amount of work had been done in building the course, which included wooden bridges and a majority of singletrack.


Oisín Boydell and Brian Cox competed for UCD, with Oisín just managing to defend his overall lead in the series with 3rd place in Experts resulting in a single point lead over Luke Manning from IMBRC. Brian Cox took to his first race of the year with vigour in Sports category achieving 10th place out of 30 competitors.

The UCD riders are looking forward to round 3 at Djouce Woods, Co. Wicklow on Sunday 6th April.
