XC NPS Round 4: Magheramorne Quarry

Round 4 of the XC NPS league took place on Sunday, 20th May at Magheramorne Quarry in Co. Antrim. The course was different to the usual terrain in that it was located in an old dis-used quarry and industrial site of a cement factory. The trail was mostly flat with the only obstacles being short steep kickers and steep roll downs. The puddles and lake also produced a lot of mud.

Cait Elliot won first place in the Elite Women category, and I got my first NPS podium finish with 3rd place in Experts. Both categories consisted of 5 laps. Full race results and overall NPS rankings here.
