2008 Intervarsities

The 2008 Irish Cycling Intervaristy Competition will be held in the Pheonix Park on Sunday 9th March. In order to facilitate the Road Race a number of roads and junctions will be closed between 10:00am and 12:00pm (noon) on Sunday 9th of March.

The Races will take place on the following the route marked red. Marshals will be placed to direct traffic at the positions 1 through 7 (click for larger version):



The specific roads that will be closed are:

Chesterfield Avenue (updated)
between Acres Rd/Odd Lamp Rd/Chesterfield Ave Round-About and North Rd/Ordnance Rd/Chesterfield Ave Round-About BOTH DIRECTIONS

Ordnance Road
between North Rd/Ordnance Rd/Chesterfield Ave Round-About and Ordnance Rd/Upper Glenn Rd/Furze Rd/Knockmaroon Rd Junction

Glenn Road
between Ordnance Rd/Upper Glenn Rd/Furze Rd/Knockmaroon Rd Junction and Chapelizod Gate/Upper Glenn Rd/Acres Rd Junction

Acres Road
Limited Traffic will be allowed on the Acres Road under guidance of the marsahalls

Military Road
between Acres Rd/Military Rd Junction and Military Rd/Islandbridge Gate/Kyber Rd/Wellington Rd Junction

Kyber Road
between Military Rd/Islandbridge Gate/Kyber Rd/Wellington Rd Junction and Kyber Rd/Acres Rd Junction
