Eight members of mixed ability travelled down to Kerry on friday until monday. We stayed in a lovely house courtesy of Sneem hotel (sincere thanks to Louise and Louis Moriarty).
After arriving in Sneem at about 5 on Friday the whole group headed out for a 2 hour or so spin up Moll's gap. Saturday saw a splitting of men and women on the morning spin to cater for different abilities.
Saturday evening after a rest and some food the group went on a second spin, a short one of sprinting or recovery for most.
Sunday we headed to Currow for the John Drum Memorial race were victory was seen for UCD ladies with Niamh Stephens in 1st place and Grainne Finn in second place of their first 45mile race of the season.
Sunday evening was a well deserved meal in Sneem hotel restaurant. Monday was a short recovery spin in the morning followed by a long drive home.
